Friends Of Ours Cooperative is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to improving digital literacy, online safety, and technology access for seniors throughout Clark County, Nevada. Sip • Carry • Wear Community Impact Campaign

Sip • Carry • Wear is a structured community impact campaign that supports the operational infrastructure behind our educational programs.

Carry tote bags are used to distribute educational manuals and learning resources to seniors. These materials travel into homes, libraries, and community spaces, extending the reach of our programs.

Wear volunteer support uniforms provide identification, professionalism, and visibility for instructors and volunteers, ensuring safe and effective class delivery.

Sip donor engagement tools help sustain long-term educational programming by strengthening supporter engagement.

Underwriting this campaign directly supports educational resource distribution and volunteer instructional infrastructure.

Senior Learning Manual Program

The Friends of Ours Senior Smart Device Learning Manual provides seniors with clear, accessible instruction on using smartphones, tablets, and digital tools safely.

Each manual includes guidance on device navigation, online safety, fraud prevention, communication tools, and accessibility features.

Manuals are distributed during classes and serve as permanent reference guides that seniors can use independently.

Underwriting supports the production, printing, and distribution of these manuals, ensuring that seniors have access to structured, reliable learning resources.

Senior Tech 101 Educational Classes

Senior Tech 101 classes provide live, instructor-led digital literacy education in small-group settings. Classes are designed to equip seniors with the knowledge and confidence needed to safely use modern technology.

Instruction covers:

• Smartphone and tablet fundamentals
• Online safety and fraud prevention
• Communication tools such as text, email, and video calls
• Device settings, accessibility, and navigation
• Safe internet practices

Each class serves approximately 5–15 seniors and provides educational manuals and learning resources to support continued learning.

These classes are delivered throughout the year in libraries and community spaces across Clark County.

Underwriting at Friends of Ours Cooperative provides structured financial support that directly funds charitable educational delivery.

Underwriting is tied to measurable educational outcomes. Each underwriting contribution supports defined program units such as manual production, resource kit distribution, class delivery, or full program sustainability.

Underwriters help make education accessible while maintaining the organization’s independence and educational neutrality.

Underwriters receive acknowledgment recognition in accordance with nonprofit compliance standards. Recognition may include acknowledgment placement in educational materials, program resources, or the organization’s website.

Measurable Impact of Underwriting Support

 Your support helps Friends of Ours Cooperative provide free, hands-on technology education that builds confidence, strengthens online safety, and helps seniors access essential digital services.

2027 Sponsorship Opportunities

• $650 — Sponsor One Class: Support one Senior Tech 101 class, with a target of 15 learning engagements.
• $7,800 — Sponsor a Complete Course: Support 12 connected lessons for a group of approximately 15 seniors, creating up to 180 learning engagements.
• $31,520 — Support the Annual Program: Fund the proposed 50-class program, including instructional materials and essential operating support.

Our 2027 Goal

Reach at least 200 individual seniors, provide 750 learning engagements, and distribute 200 learning manuals across Clark County.

A learning engagement means one person attending one class; returning students count toward additional engagements. These are planning targets, with delivery subject to funding and participation.
